Dr. Hongjo Kim returned to his alma mater, Yonsei University, in the first semester of 2021, as an assistant professor in the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering. 

 Dr. Hongjo Kim earned a bachelor's degree in 2013, and a Ph.D degree in 2018 from the same department. 

 Before joining our department, he conducted postdoctoral research at Texas A&M University in 2018, and moved to Ohio in 2019, where he was appointed as an assistant professor at the Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering and Engineering Mechanics at the University of Dayton.
